Preston People's Choir
Preston People’s Choir is a friendly choir which welcomes anybody who wants to enjoy singing in a group. We learn the songs by ear so you don’t need to be able to read music. There are no auditions and you don’t need any experience. We sing a wide range of songs from all over the world.
Where and when?
Our sessions are every Tuesday evening (during usual term time) from 7pm to 8.30pm in Room 226 in the UCLan Media Factory on Kirkham Street, Preston, Lancashire PR1 2XY, close to Fylde Road.
What does it cost?
Your first two sessions are free so you can see if it’s for you. After that we ask for £3, £4.50 or £6 each session, depending on your circumstances.
We are a Natural Voice Choir, which means celebrating the voice you are born with, rather than training it to an ideal of perfection. It's about welcoming all voices into a group without auditions and working from there to make a group sound. And it’s about doing all that whilst having fun!
